WRENN MEMORABILIA

Posters

When G. & R. Wrenn Ltd.  were owned by Dapol, they commissioned a series of Artwork Posters entitled

"The Wrenn Collectors Series of Model Railway Artwork."

They were authentic reproductions from original Hornby Dublo artwork, and were reproduced with the permission of Hornby Hobbies Ltd., the owners of the Registered Trade Mark - Hornby Dublo.

The set is of three Limited Edition posters. Each print is from a Limited Edition of 3,000 pieces. The first print (11.75" x 16.5") is double sided, the first explaining the series of prints and the second side displaying the Hornby Dublo 'Crepello' Deltic. The other prints (both 11.75" x 17") are of the Hornby Dublo Break-down crane, and then two Hornby Dublo Train sets.  The prints cost £2 each and will be posted 'rolled' in stout  'artwork' tubes.

Folders

In 1975, G. & R. Wrenn Ltd. issued a commemorative folder, with the title "Silver Jubilee" to commemorate their 25 years in business. Two years later they issued a similar commemorative folder to mark the Queen's Silver Jubilee with the slightly different title, the "Silver Jubilee Year" with the Royal Coat of Arms alongside. Both folders are now highly sought after, and this is your chance to buy the second of those two folders, stored and brand new.

The folder, measuring 13" by 9", has a 4" fold-over tab to retain papers and the like stored inside the folder. G. & R. Wrenn used these folders to sell the sets of 4 Railway Art Prints that first appeared in the 4th Edition Catalogue issued in 1979. The folders cost £6 and will be posted in card strengthened envelopes.
