THE BOOK

The Book is currently between the printers and the 'binders' and will be available at the Book Launch on Saturday 27th March. For those of you who have ordered to book to be delivered by post, they will be posted on Monday 29th March. If you wish to order the book you can do so from local branches of W.H. The latest update - 29th February - is that unfortunately the book is still at the printers and will NOT be ready in time for release at Sandown Park Toy Fair.  The official launch for the book will now take place at the London Model Railway Exhibition at Alexandra Palace on Saturday 27th March.  The book will cost £22 and is also available by post which will require an additional £3 towards the postage costs in the UK, with European postage at £4.95, North America £9.75 and Australia at £10.75. The book on the history of G. & R. Wrenn Limited, written by Maurice Gunter, is in the final stages of preparation.

It is still intended that the book will be launched on 6th March 2004 at The Sandown Park Toy Fair where Maurice will be available to sign copies of the book. It is also hoped that Mrs. Audrey Wrenn, ex Director and Company Secretary of the Company during the 'Basildon' years will be there to see the book launched.
