The rarest of the three models of 'Exeter', the 1989 3 Pole motor Non Golden Arrow - only 50 of these models were made:

The 19th Limited Edition loco issued without a Certificate or any of the other 'normal' Limited Edition Accessories - W2293, the Wartime Black 'Caledonian' Royal Scot

These 2 locos have been used on the front cover of the Book.

The following 2 versions of the Wrenn Ventilated Van, W5100 and W5100A were considered for use on the rear cover of the book - the Brown W5100A being the rarer of the 2, but the Grey one won the vote.
